Summary

A homeowner in Marysville, WA, needed a professional ceiling drywall repair after an approximately 18\" × 18\" opening was left in the living room ceiling following previous work.

Our goal was to restore the damaged area, match the existing ceiling texture, and create a clean, uniform finish that blended naturally with the surrounding ceiling.

The Work

Reinstalled and securely fastened the existing drywall section.
Applied drywall tape and multiple coats of joint compound to finish the seams.
Allowed appropriate drying time between applications.
Carefully sanded and prepared the repaired surface.
Matched the existing ceiling texture as closely as possible.
Applied primer and customer-supplied paint to blend the repaired area with the surrounding ceiling.

The Outcome

The completed ceiling drywall repair restored a consistent appearance to the living room. By carefully finishing the seams, matching the existing texture, and applying paint, we achieved a clean, professional result that blends with the surrounding ceiling.

This Marysville project demonstrates how attention to detail can make a significant difference, even on smaller home repairs.
